Church History

Christian Life Church has a long and deeply rooted Legacy in Muscatine. It originated as First United Pentecostal Church, with the founder W. A. Wilson in 1971. He drove back and forth from Burlington, IA to establish and pastor the church through 1975. In 1975 Rev. Charlie Zeck became the pastor. It would flourish and remain under his leadership until 2012.  Pastor Steven and Mrs. Schmaljohn worked to keep the church going in the interim until 2014 when God called Pastor and Mrs. Steven Brown. To Muscatine. Under their leadership, the church changed its name and location as God unfolded His plan in Muscatine.

In July 2024, God would unveil His plan further by calling Pastor. and Mrs. Matthew Stenseth to Muscatine with their family. Under their leadership, Christian Life Church steps into a new and exciting chapter.
